Waterboy Inline Filter

The Waterboy Inline filter enhances water quality and prevents debris that can essentially damage your water pump. It is compatible with a Waterboy jet pump, 3kW controller or a Hydro Switch pump pack and is designed for a rainwater harvesting system where the rainwater is collected in the rainwater tank which then passes through the inline filter and into the jet pump.

Installation

  • Install the filter inline with the pipework between the water tank and pump.
  • Ensure there is an isolation valve at the outlet of the tank for maintenance.
  • If the water has low pressure at the tap, there might be a blockage in the filter.
  • Follow the cleaning instructions below to remove blockage.

 

Cleaning

It is important to clean the Waterboy Inline filter every few months by:

  • Isolating the water from the tank.
  • Unscrewing the bottom of the filter.
  • Disposing of any debris.
  • Rinsing out the filter and mesh before screwing and attaching it back on.
